BLACK BARN, in the tradition of the fine wines of Bordeaux, France, crafts a big dry full-bodied red made from fresh grapes brought to our winery from the Sierra Foothills region of California. Each annual blend results in an exceptional dry red wine that is affordably priced, and enjoyed by novices and connoisseurs alike. 

BLACK BARN wines are award winning wines produced in the heart of the Bluegrass region.

 We're located in northern Fayette County on a 40 acre horse farm, Ashwood Farm, less than 3 miles from the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky.

 You are invited to Ashwood Farm and BLACK BARN Winery to visit with Collin, BLACK BARN Winery's owner and winemaker, and share his passion for a big bold dry red wine that is meant to be experienced today and held for tomorrow ~ to be enjoyed now and for years to come!
